Rajasthan Royals have Appointed Lasith Malinga as their fast bowling coach ahead of IPL 2022. Lankan great Malinga is considered one of the finest fast bowlers of his time, and he has been a great cricketer throughout his career. The Sri Lankan prolific cricketer has retired from international cricket, and now he is focusing on starting his career as a coach.

Following the success in IPL, now the batting maestro has been offered the position of coach of IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals, and he finally agreed to the proposal.
In an official statement regarding this, Malinga said, “I have the experience of playing here, and hopefully that will help me in a great deal to get success as a coach.” “IPL is a high-class tournament, and I am all set to work here,” he went on to add.

Rajasthan Royals managing director Kumar Sangakkara said they are very excited as Lasith Malinga agreed to get linked with them. “He is a great lead. He got success in last IPL, and his presence in the squad will be a great help for the cricketers to learn and to adapt quickly,” he went on to add.
